You are welcome to register to any of the following workshops:



Introduction to Programming for multimedia artists
October 31, 1 pm - 4 pm

Introduction to multimedia-oriented programming environments, hands-on
programming concepts with Java, and MORE.

Designing and programming interaction
November 6, 11 am - 2 pm

Step-by-step design of interactive project with Flash + action-script,
and MORE.

Please note: understanding of the basic programming concepts is
necessary to follow this workshops. Consider attending "Introduction
to Programming for multimedia artists".



Incorporating database and internet data  / November 20, 11 am - 2 pm

Creating multimedia projects that use database to store and retrieve
data (php + mySQL), getting search engine images/text into your
project, and MORE.

Please note: understanding of the basic programming concepts is
necessary to follow this workshops. Consider attending "Introduction
to Programming for multimedia artists".



Making Data Meaningful - 1 / December 10, 11 am - 3 pm

Introduction to the introduction: processing real-time data with Max,
making sense of textual data, and MORE.

Please note: understanding of the basic programming concepts is
necessary to follow this workshops. Consider attending "Introduction
to Programming for multimedia artists".



Making Data Meaningful - 2 (with Arduino)
December 12, 11 am - 3 pm

Making sense of the sensor data from Arduino with Max, and MORE.

Please note: This workshop is conducted in collaboration with Sensor
Lab http://slab.concordia.ca. Understanding of the basic programming
concepts and electronics is necessary to follow this workshops.
Consider attending "Introduction to Programming for multimedia
artists" and "Electronics for artist" (Sensor Lab)
