Marquette and Prototype Lab EV 8.705 is organizing another workshop:
Introduction to Composites for Model Making and Small Molds
with technician Chris Latchem.
A short theoretical introduction to composites with "hands on"
practice to see some of ways composites can be used for models.

Location: EV 8.705 Maquette Lab
EV 8.618 Spray Booth
Duration: 3 hrs.
Available to: Open to all Fine Arts students.

Participants: 6-8 students
Cost: Cost of sample materials: $8 per person
Objective: To see some ways that resins and fibers can be used for
model and mouldmaking.
To try wet layup with resin and glass.
Details: Definition, discussion of advantages, disadvantages of
composites
Examination of examples, photos.

fillers.
